At Replit, the team is designing an end-to-end, multiplayer platform for software development & deployment. This talk will be about what they've learned over the years designing for programmers (hint: it's kinda like cooking for chefs.)
Barron will cover unique multiplayer challenges and why it's not as simple as "it's like Figma!", how they stay focused in a field that's infinitely expansive, how they think about magic, when to invent vs adapt, and settle the "should designers code" debate once and for all.
