The world of street art and care-filled design

  • Theme:Process

  • Topic:Visual design

After studying art and design at UC Berkeley, I ran off to join the circus and designed a billboard about it. Since then, teaching street art history and spray paint has taught me that the best design lives on the street, where people can touch it and make it their own. In this talk, I’ll share how working with teams from Adobe, Google, and Figma transformed my view of design from pixels to people. Together, we’ll explore how street art, from the Guerrilla Girls to Michael Jang, builds belonging, redefines public space, and inspires community throughout the design process.
