Dylan Field is the co-founder and CEO of Figma. Dylan studied computer science and mathematics at Brown University where he and his co-founder, Evan Wallace, first started experimenting with design tools built on (and for) the web. With funding from a Thiel fellowship, they began Figma. Prior to Figma, Dylan interned at O'Reilly Media, LinkedIn, and Flipboard.

Alexia is a designer advocate at Figma based out of Paris, France. Having worked across the spectrum of design for over 10 years, she is passionate about unlocking creative impact in organizations, building a more inclusive and diverse industry, and crafting magical “a-ha” moments along the way. When she’s not busy hanging out with fellow designers, you may find her traveling to tea fields or reviewing croissants.

Daisuke Sakai, born in Japan in 1978, graduated from the University of Tokyo's Department of Mechanical and Information Engineering. He co-founded teamLab in 2001, an international art collective exploring the convergence of art, science, and technology. With exhibitions in 27+ countries, teamLab pioneers global art and advances technology in system development and digital content creation. He is committed to pushing boundaries and redefining the possibilities of interdisciplinary collaboration.

Devdatta Akhawe serves as our Chief Security Officer, leading Figma’s platform security, production engineering, internal tools, and growth and monetization technical efforts. Prior to joining Figma in 2020, he held engineering and security leadership positions at Dropbox and graduated with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Jake is Figma's first developer advocate, and spent the prior 12 years working as a software engineer on both sides of web applications. Jake loves to walk the line between design and code, bridge gaps in communication across product development, and bring as much fun and creativity to the work that they can manage to cram in along the way.

Kaushal Cavale is a Principal Engineer & Frontend Architect building scalable SaaS platforms, enterprise design systems, and AI-integrated user experiences. He helps product teams move faster by designing frontend platforms that balance velocity, accessibility, and long-term sustainability. At Freshworks, he works across products and teams on design systems, micro frontend architecture, and frontend observability. He’s particularly interested in AI-native product design, including conversational interfaces, agent-driven workflows, and RAG-based systems.

Ken Vreman is a Designer Advocate who has worked agency side, in-house, and ran his own company before realising the common thread was always chasing whatever was new in design.

That chase led him down a deep AI rabbit hole, and eventually to joining the Figma Weave crew, where he helps companies and designers figure out what AI can do for them.

Along the way he's made video tutorials and hosted a bunch of community events where designers could get their hands dirty together.

Loredana Crisan is the Chief Design Officer at Figma, where she leads design, UX writing, brand studio and research. Prior to joining Figma, she spent nine years at Meta, where she held product and design leadership roles across Messenger, Instagram and GenAI initiatives. Before Loredana’s career in product and design, she was a musician and sound engineer.

Manish is a developer advocate at Figma who builds bridges between code and creativity — and occasionally sets them on fire.
He spent over a decade at Reliance as a technical architect, building multi-brand, multi-platform design systems for products used by more than a billion people across India. Before that, he wore the UX designer hat long enough to develop strong opinions about both pixels and pull requests. He's one of the rare humans fluent in both design and engineering — equally comfortable debating token naming conventions and reviewing a component API.

Masaba Gupta, a design virtuoso and award-winning entrepreneur, actor, and the Queen of Prints, founded her label, House of Masaba, at 19. Over 16 years, she transformed traditional Indian motifs into a global fashion language defined by bold prints, playful storytelling, and a recognizable design vocabulary. With a global presence, Masaba continues to redefine modern Indian design as fearless, culturally grounded, and endlessly original.

Meghna Kumar leads Figma's business across Asia, based out of Singapore. She was one of the founding members of Figma APAC, helping build the region's presence from day one. Before Figma, Meghna spent a decade at LinkedIn across a range of sales roles. Originally from Chennai, she brings deep experience scaling teams and businesses across diverse, fast-growing markets. Outside of work, she keeps just as busy raising her two kids.

Michel Ferreira is a Brazilian designer with almost three decades of experience building design systems and leading teams across five countries. He has worked with global companies including Shopify, Booking.com, and Atlassian, and now serves as a Designer Advocate at Figma in Sydney.

Parinishtha leads the UX team at Microsoft responsible for designing Copilot's desktop applications for Windows and macOS. She's previously worked on AI-integrity systems across Meta's ecosystem: Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook. Her work sits at the intersection of thoughtful design, AI systems, shipping at scale and team leadership.

Dr. Pratyush Kumar is the CEO and Co-founder of Sarvam, and a leading voice in India’s AI ecosystem. He previously built AI4Bharat and OneFourth Labs, advancing open-source AI for Indian languages and contributing to the broader research community. Before Sarvam, he was a researcher at Microsoft Research and IBM, working on machine learning and natural language processing. He has authored 89+ research papers at leading conferences and journals. He holds degrees from IIT Bombay and ETH Zurich and is focused on building AI that reaches every corner of India.

Rhish builds the systems, teams, and ways of working that help organisations turn strategy into execution. Over the past decade, he has worked across India and Germany at the intersection of business, design, technology, and AI. His unconventional path from law to advertising, DesignOps, and AI gives him a blend of structured thinking, design curiosity, and commercial perspective. He believes technology should amplify human creativity, not replace it.

Samantha Lee is an artist and technologist working across sculpture, installation, and interactive media. At Figma, she explores how creative ideas become working systems and helps designers bring code into their practice.

Sascha Trinkaus is a design technologist at heart who has been building for the web since the late 90s. He leads the Design & Content Studio at Freshworks, where designers now build production UI in the codebase instead of handing off design files. Originally he is from Cologne, and is now based in San Francisco.

Shahee Nannore Hiran is a Design Manager at Atlassian, where she leads and builds AI experiences for Jira Service Management. Her team ships AI features that help IT teams catch and resolve incidents faster. Over the past year, she has rebuilt her own practice around AI, using it for research synthesis, prototyping, and shaping product direction. Before Atlassian, she spent a decade in senior design roles at Flipkart and Microsoft. At Config, she shows what an AI-native design workflow looks like day to day, with the real artefacts behind it.

Soren Iverson is the founder and CEO of IVERSON, an independent creative agency behind work for Figma, Baseten, Yahoo, and more.

He’s also known for satirical product concepts that expose the absurdity hiding inside everyday technology. His work interweaves design, business, and internet culture.

Tarun Mehta graduated from IIT Madras with a degree in Engineering Design (2012) and co-founded Ather Energy with Swapnil Jain in 2013. As CEO, Tarun leads product, business, and growth with a vision of delivering the best experience to Ather’s customers. Driven by his interest in electric vehicles, he helped develop India’s first smart electric scooter and has worked to accelerate EV adoption through charging infrastructure and supplier ecosystems. He received the AIMA Young Entrepreneur Award (2023) and was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 (2018) and Fortune 40 Under 40 for five years.
