A new opportunity to make great software

Today, technological development is outpacing our ability to apply it thoughtfully. While AI gives us the opportunity to reconsider everything from how we work to what solutions we pursue, we have to remember that technology is not useful on its own. It needs to be applied to real problems, wrapped in brand and storytelling, and fit into peoples' lives. How should designers think about AI? How can we embrace all the change and focus on putting valuable software into the world? Henry will share his observations from building Perplexity.

Defining the relationship (between humans and AI)

We're close to a sci-fi future of AI-powered products that meld seamlessly into our lives - but to operate at peak performance, these systems need to truly know their users. How should we think about designing systems that grow to understand us? Sam and Jason talk through a few core principles they've adhered to while building Dot.
